The Rules We Use

1. Have Fun.
2. Be a good sport.
3. House Rules Apply.
4. The slower sander in a heat can opt to change lanes. (double elimination races).
5. We run Modified and Stock classes. Winner of stock races gets to run in Modified class.

Watch out for that guy operating the starting lights! You never know who he is rooting for! Be alert at the starting line. If you get distracted, you never know what might happen. Cords have been known to mysteriously pop out of their socket! Come prepared! Between the sudden stop at the end, and the potential pinball action on the way down, the belt sander track can take a toll on your power tool! However, everyone loves a good crash! Shrapnel is encouraged! (don't quote me on that one)

Awards (or at least applause) goes to the 3 fastest belt sanders in each class. If possible, awards for various other "honors" will be presented as well. We tend to recognize a "good try" or a creative design in one way or another.
