08/16  (XX)	DH	At the time the only observation of this nest the chick was well cared for so in lieu of any info to the contrary this chick is assumed to have fledged.
06/18   (01)	CM	NEW! Brackett Brook Osprey nest - in larger (northeasterly) of the two "ponds" on Greenland side of townline behind the baseball fields at the NH Tech campus. 1 active osprey nest mixed in with 8 -10 active heron nests.  2 unbanded adult ospreys feeding 1 half-grown chick.  Approx. GPS coords = 43d 02' 52.24"N, 70d 52' 54.46"W.  Difficult access from baseball diamond area due to heavy growth of rose bushes gone wild mixed with poison ivy & what appeared to be poison sumac.  I think going is better thru more open, mature woods if you approach from east of campus buildings. Consult Google Earth before venturing in there!
