Investigation: September 5, 2009

Location: Fort Knox, Prospect, Maine

We were lucky enough to get permission for a hour investigation into the Fort.  The moon was full the conditions were perfect.  We focused on the most haunted places, determined through personal investigations as well as accounts from other eye witness reports.
The Alcove, just off the Officer's Quarters is said to have the strongest Supernatural elements, throughout the years.  Events that can not be substantiated, but said to have occurred in the area, lead us to believe a strong imprint or residual haunt occurs in this area.
2 Step Alley is also a favorite location for investigators.  I have had several events occur in this area, (see below)
This night was very promising.  250 flash photos, over 30 minutes of video and 40 minutes of EVP work turned up nothing in substantial evidence.  There was plenty of personal experiences as well as corner flickers, sounds not picked up no recorders and geese flying over.  All in all I'd have to rate it as a good experience.  One that if given 3 or 4 more hours, might have garnered the solid evidence needed to call the night a success.

A nice motion blur

UPDATE: MAY 3, 2008

TEAM: MESUPER!

Sure, I'll be the first to admit this is probably a motion blur.  But I'd also point out that the entire picture isn't in motion, or blurred, just the Native looking face, with feather headdress.
The Fort still has some secrets to give up.

LOCATION: FORT KNOX, PROSPECT MAINE

DATE: OCTOBER  9, 2007

Okay, sure the above pic might be a tourist guy, with a weird looking baseball cap, and black/dark blue clothes, or he might be a man in uniform, a ghost man in uniform.  Since I didn't see him from across the long courtyard, when I took the picture.  Who is to say.  This is the hobby, I have chosen.  90 % speculation/wishful thinking 10 % actual unknown.  I have done several investigations into Fort Knox.
For the most part I have been blanked.  I don't believe mist from cold air breathing is supernatural.  I don't believe in cigarette smoke apparitions.  I don't believe in 90 % of the matrix photos I post, for lack of anything concrete.
You might say I have matured a little, from wanting to see a spirit in every angle, of every shot, I take.  With this in mind, I am attempting to change my investigations to a more scientific based hard evidence investigation.

For some reason, I can't quite put my finger on, I actually had trouble getting into the fort.  You might say I was a little distracted.

Recalling a scene from Ferris Bueller, I actually leaned forward and put my head on the glass and looked straight down.
Hey wait a minute, is this how sea gulls feel when they target my focus, that's mine the first red matchbox on the left.

Okay, now that I wowed and awed you with my bridge tower pics, that would be the Penobscot Narrows Bridge.  As I was incognito and only recognized by the gatekeeper, a person that rode up in the elevator, and by the attendant that received us at the top, I could barely muffle a snicker, as one of the viewers asked "How do you pronounce Penabscit?"

Oh, yeah!  I almost forgot, this is what a humongous fort looks like from 443 feet up.  Kinda like a lego fort hunh?

I know, I know nothing paranormal, just a really neat image.  Completely disregarding the light anomaly standing on the top step. The fort was almost perfect for an investigation.  Few tourist seemed to slow down on their way to and from the tower.  No wind, very dry air so no breath could be seen in the darkest, wettest corner of the usually damp fort.
As I mentioned, I had done the fort before, some might say with a lot more unhelpful or inconsiderate distractions, then I had on this solo effort.
I took over 300 photos, 4 2 minute videos and 15 evp's.  Discounting the dozens of matrix's and limestone formations that plaster the 98% of the stonework, what little was left, can be found below.

That image is a person either with hair done up, or in a hat, in gray clothes.  It is not a matrix, because it is standing in the doorway, not on a wall, or back against a wall, but in the doorway.  The photo is, as is, and hasn't been enhanced.  If you have trouble seeing it, you might need to adjust the brightness of your screen.

Another doorway, and a second look, made me post this one.  I'm not saying what I see in this pic.
