"Greensward"
is an archaic word for "green, grassy ground or turf." In contemporary language, it connotes moving forward with a "green"
lifestyle. "Hamlet" is an archaic word for "a small village, town or community." At GREENSWARD HAMLET we are “going back” to the way life used to be and, as we say in Maine, "the
way life should be" – an old-fashioned neighborhood where people know each other, look out for each other and take care
of our planet.
