ALASKA
Marion and I met on Kodiak Island in 1955. Or was it 1956? At any
rate, I was in the Navy band and she were the new school marm.
We left in 1957 and got married the same year. After four years of college for me and a lot of work on Marion's part we returned in 1962 for a couple of years to make a bundle of money. We left in 1983.
We left a lot of friends and memories in the Great Land, but try to return for a visit every other year. Here our some links to show you some of what we left behind.

The IDITAROD is billed as the Last Great
Race. This site has a lot of information and pictures concerning
this great Alaska classic.

Marion and I met on KODIAK
ISLAND
in 1956. She was the new school marm from New Jersey and I was
playing trumpet in the Navy Band on the Naval Air Station.
