Come join the Jackman Sled Dog Club as it hosts the Moose River Run and the Northeast Championships Sled Dog races. Snow
arrives early here in Jackman and doesn't leave until the flowers are blooming everwhere else. It's easy to provide great
trail conditions!
Our sled dog trails are wide and well groomed with well marked hills and corners. We provide loop trails for most
classes, and there is plenty of space to park for racers and spectators.
Dog teams from all over the US and Canada come to Jackman to participate. Sled dogs are pulling everything from traditional
wooden sleds to titanium sleds to skiers; a sport called skijoring.
