I am a guy with a day job who enjoys making rustic furniture. I was inspired by my Dad who helped me make my first
piece at his shop in Maine, a bench that was a gift for my wife. After making a few pieces for gifts and seeing peoples'
reaction, I thought maybe I could sell a few. The reaction has been very positive and seems to be growing.

The Process
In the spring I gather and peel saplings. After they dry for a few months, I can begin to make them into furniture.
Like other rustic furniture makers, I try to "listen to the sticks" for inspiration. Most pieces are finished with tung
oil, some get a light coat of polyurethane.
