leave on time! Please contact the leader(s) ahead of time to let
them know you are coming. All trips will carpool from meeting
place.
January
14 (Saturday). Ogunquit to
Portland. Winter birds of south coastal Maine. Leader: Jay Adams. Meeting
place: Citgo Station on Route 197 off the I-95 Richmond exit.

April 22 (Saturday). Bradbury Mountain Hawkwatch. Leader, Lionel Quirion.
Meeting Place: Citgo Station on Route 197 off the I-95 Richmond exit.
Departure time: 8:30 a.m. Contact:
Jay Adams (Lionel will be
on the mountain). Note: Lionel will be on Bradbury Mountain daily
between April 15 and April 30. Join him any time and particularly any
day with a southwest wind.
May 6 (Saturday).
Damariscotta River Association,
Belvedere Road, Damariscotta. Leader:
DRA. Meeting Place: DRA Heritage Farm, Belvedere Rd,

Gardiner. Departure time: 5:30 a.m. No need for pre-contact, just show
up. Note: Plan to leave the
cemetary by 9:00 to get to work by 10:00.

May 21 (Sunday). Matinicus Island one-day
wonder. Leader: Mike Smith.
We will fly over to Matinicus in the morning and bird the island for
spring
migrants all day. There are very few resources on Matinicus so be
prepared to
bring a day's worth of food and walk a lot. Bird-wise,
this should be like birding Monhegan, but with a bit more of a sense of
adventure. Airfare is $80 round trip.
Interested individuals contact Mike ahead of time to plan exact

time: 8:15 a.m.

Swan Island. Leader: Gabriella Howard. Meeting
Place: Richmond boat ramp, Kennebec River. Departure time:
