...NGC 2903 a large spiral galaxy located in Leo that shines at magnitude 9. This galaxy is visible even in 2' scopes and shows some detail in 4" or larger. It is located at the end of the "hook "on the"sickle"just to the right. This photo was taken with the 11" scope on Kodak Gold 1000 for twenty minutes at f6.3. The image was darkened digitally just a little to increase contrast .
