Participation in the Great American Community Band is determined by application.

Once chosen for the Festival, participants will need to make arrangements with the High Peaks Resort for accommodations.

Rehearsals for the Great American Community Band begin at 7:00 p.m. Friday night (please note that rehearsals for student groups begin a day earlier).

On Saturday night, the members of the Great American Community Band join the members of the student groups, their teachers, and chaperones, for a gala banquet.

The dress rehearsal and afternoon concert on Sunday will be held at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts.
