Something you don't see everyday.
Driving around the fair city today I came across a yellow VW Beetle.
Nothing big about that, until I looked inside at the man with a cowboy hat driving
it.
So many things wrong with that.
Oh, on a lighter note, seems like every reason we were given for invading Iraq has been proven
wrong. Somehow, predictably BushCo. deems Hussein intent was the only true fact. But those cheese eating surrender
monkeys at the UN, had sanctions in place that were preventing it from happening. Sure there we side deals going on, but there's
no proof he was even trying to do anything with the inspectors hounding him and the sanctions keeping his hands tied.
Are you ready for Friday Night Fights?
Debate should be a real hoot. I'll eat my own underwear and hound Michael for a new pair,
if Bush admits a mistake. Any mistake will do.
And I'll donate $20 to Kerry if Bush somehow blames it all on UN.
I'll probably donate more anyway, but you didn't know that.

Global Test
Funny how things work.
Kerry uses a line about passing a global test.
Bush as predicted, uses it as a negative against Kerry.
Bush says he'd never let foreign capitols make our security decisions. He'd never let foreign
capitols have a say in how we choose to defend ourself.
Then Bush wants the rest of the world to come along for the ride. You're with us or against
us, but hey, would you mind helping in the war?
Kerry basically said we're only as good as our word, and lately our word isn't very believable.
To say nothing that the Polish president recently dubbed the war a mistake.
Acknowledging a mistake is not a bad thing. Doing nothing to correct it, or even ackowledging
it exists, is.

One down, two to go
Well, watched the debate like most people last night.
I wish I could interject something new, but with the instant and massive spin, most of the
big points have already been dissected.
Kerry won. Once again he's come through when he's had to, just like they've been telling
us he would.
It wasn't perfect, but the poor perfomance of Bush really showed. The fact they kept claiming
it was Bush's strong suit can't possibly bode well. Now we've got Edwards going up against the nearly invisible Cheney. I
get the feeling they're going to decide to hammer him on Halliburton. If they don't I'll be surprised. Edwards offers a stark
contrast that should work well as the attack dog. It'll be interesting to see how they attack Edwards and his lawyer background.
I'm guessing the asbestos lawsuit thing will be an issue. Watch, I'm telling you, it'll be a connection I'm sure Edwards will
make.
