Raindrops

Raindrops is an example of the effects you can achieve in fused glass when you mix different materials. In this case, small snippets of dichroic glass were placed between a clear background and a sheet of black iridescent in the foreground. When fired in the kiln, the dichroic glass released small gas bubbles which then collapsed, leaving a look that reminds me of raindrops hitting dark shimmering water.
