I was born in Newark New Jersey a long long time ago (60) and was raised in Maine. I just love Maine and all Maine has to offer especially the coast and boating.

I was a Medic in Viet Nam, a Helicopter Mechanic for the US Army, a Photographer for Authors and others, and a research Assistant and Editor for many of the same Authors and much much more.

I get to do many things all very diverse. I've lived and worked in many different countries. I've also visited many different countries just to vacation.

I love history and doing research for authors. I always hated school so history in school was just boring. There was no life in it only the facts. History can come to life. History is, PEOPLE and PEOPLE STORIES.

I love to and use to live to do historical reenactment. I not only lived in 1744 but the 1850's to 1870's. That statement means I have reenacted battles and stations in life afforded to people in those time periods by living in a tent and or staying at a fortress or house for extended periods of time. This included cooking over a open fire and wearing clothing, shoes and carrying weapons of the time period. This not only added to the excitement of just living but it also gave me outlooks on life much different than most have about history and historical subjects. Living as people did in the time periods mentioned, is an eye opening experience.
