"The coalescence of form, function, and art."

Lamps and Candelabra
Steven's lamps make quite a statement.  The possible variations of form, size, color, and texture are nearly endless.  Patterns incised into the clay, or one of his highly textured glazes can give his ceramic forms dimension.  On the other hand, his smooth glaze formulation emphasizes the form of a ceramic lamp and the color variations caught only by a raku firing.
Metal lamps range from simple to ornate and the combinations can vary to your specifications.
If electric lighting is not what you seek, many candelabra are featured.  Lighting a candelabrum, brings flame back to a piece that originated in fire.
Steve's collaboration with David Little is featured in NH Home Magazine

Form, texture, glaze, and firing technique all contribute to the wide variety of lamp styles.  Steven's lamps act as their own spotlight.  The play of light is especially interesting on the incised surface of the lamp on the far right.  The illusion is one of hundreds of tightly wound copper wires.  The classic shape of the lamp on the left contrasts with the dramatic color acheived only through a raku firing. The lamp below left with its more slender neck and ceramic handles mimics a jar or vessel.   Steven's lamp bases range from 10 to 24" and include a three way switch and parchment shade.  Starting at $175

A remarkable focal point for the dining table, your mantelpiece, or a side table.  The swirling ceramic candle cups compliment the hand-forged wrought iron stand and, when lit, the combined elements suggest motion.  Candelabra available with any number of candle cups.  Custom height.
