Pelham vs Franklin
Pelham squared off against Franklin in their first dual meet of the year with the Pythons prevailing 54-18. Picking up wins for Pelham were Josh Montminy (103), Ryan Cannizzaro (125), Josh Lynde (130), Mike Perruccio (135), Peter Soonthornprapuet (140), Chris Filippone (145), Richie Sullivan (160), Matt Giordano (171), and Warren Greenhalgh (189).

Bronco Invitational
The Python wrestlers traveled to Alvirne High School to compete in the Bronco Invitational. The team finished in 5th place with 109 points. Richie Sullivan captured the title at 152  lbs. Josh Lynde and Mike Perruccio, 130 and 135 respectively took home second place honors and Josh Montminy, Peter Soonthornprapuet, and Chris Filippone (103, 140, and 145) placed third in their weight classes. A milestone on the day happened in the semifinals of the 135 pound weight when Mike Perruccio won his 100th career match. Congratulations to Mike and this accomplishment. 

Hollis Brookline
Fighting injuries and illness are a part of every season and these problems have hit the Pythons early. With three starters out the team fought valiantly but fell short to Hollis 39-33. Muhanned Bagegni (119) continues to improve getting a pin while Mike Perruccio (135) and Richie Sullivan (152) picked up wins by pins. Ryan Cannizzaro (125) and Matt Blanchard (189) accepted forfeits. Kevin DeAngelo picked up a decision victory 5-4 at 145.

Tyngsboro Big Red Tournament
Pelham continues to prove a tough tounament team by placing 4th at the Big Red Tournament. Mike Perruccio took home the title at 130 while Warren Greenhalgh placed 2nd at 171 while Muhanned Bagegni wrestled back in the consolations to take 3rd at 119.

Campbell/ Windham tri meet
Although Pelham was giving up 5 weight classes because of injuries and illness the team battled hard to take a 48-36 win against Campbell and a 45-18 victory against Windham. Against Campbell Bagegni, Cannizzaro, Perruccio, Peter Soonthornprapuet (140), and Greenhalgh won by pins while Josh Montminy (103), Andy Pomerleau (130), and DeAngelo took forfeit wins. In the Windham meet Cannizzaro, Pomerleau, Perruccio, Soonthornprapuet, DeAngelo, Greenhalgh, and Matt Giordano (189) won by falls while Montminy had an 11-0 win and Pomerleau tech falled his opponent 15-0.
