Jeremiah(Jerry) Saunders, son of Joseph Saunders and Harriet Bailey married
Margaret Ann Allen daughter of Elijah Allen and Margaret (Peggy) Humphrys.
Margaret and Jeremiah had seven children by all accounts.  William,
Celia (my Great Grandmother) Fraser G., Walter D., Clarence, Herbert L., and Alice.


Capt. John Althause of the New York. Regiment, married unknown
they had at least 2 children. His daughter, Elizabeth married Lt. John Mark(x)s
first then Ludwig DeBeck, then a Staples. Her daughter Elizabeth married a Nicholas Humphrey of Ireland.  Nicholas fought in the American Revolution with the New York Volunteers and came to Canada with his Regiment. Elizabeth Marks and Nicholas Humphrey had at least 11 children 
born in York County Canada.

John Jr. is said to outlived three wives, and had issue by each.  According to family tradition,
John DeBeck was placed in sommand of Fort Howe in St. John, New Brunswick Canada. His
grandson George DeBeck went to France, and rose from a private to a Colonel and fought in the
battle of Wagram, according to tradition, he was the only officer of his Company to survive, and
was severely wounded; he was decorated with the Grand Cross of the Leg.
Which is still in the family, some family settled in Vancouver, British Columbia
