Bugs and Butterflies Hunt
July 1 at 1:00 p.m. (Rain date July 8)
Ages 5-10
Come meet the Library's neighbors: our insect neighbors, that is! Biologist, Mark Ferguson will lead the way.  We'll explore in the tall grass and dirt, so long pants and sneakers are best.  Bring insect nets and bug containers if you have them.  Meet at the Library.  Call 244-7036 to register.
 
Red Wing Puppet Theater

Veteran puppeteer Chuck Meese and his nephew Jan bring their own wacky brand of humor to life through puppetry, juggling, music and physical comedy.  Don't miss it!
 
The Bugs in Your Back Yard
July 30 at 7:00 p.m.
Ages 5 and up.
Join Jerry Schneider, creator of the board game The Butterfly Game, as he explores the life cycles, adaptations and unusual features of our insect neighbors.  Create an insect t-shirt (bring your own cotton shirt or buy one for $4) and meet LIVE insects!   Registration required (244-7036).
 
Chess Camp with Ty Hartshorn

Afternoon session: grades 4-6 (1:00 - 4:00)
