PICTURE OF THE DAY KEEPERS

Anthony and Carl with the Sprint Car, late March 2005. This was never a Picture of the Day, but was featured on Mike Lauterborn's sprint41.com and the front page of the Empire Super Sprints website.

"King of the Outlaws" Steve Kinser stands at the bottom of the ramp to the hauler at the World of Outlaws race at Lebanon Valley Speedway May 30, 2005. No one asking him for an autograph, no one working on the car. What a great shot.

Robbie Crouch gets ready to go out for practice or a heat race at Catamount stadium back in 1986. I've tried to get the same shot of other drivers, but this one worked. A clear shot of the driver, with the evening sun providing the lighting.

Aerial shot of Fairfax from November 12, 1927 after the flood. Click on the picture for an enlarged photo and see Fairfax the way it was after the flood. The Maple Street Bridge is off it's foundation. The Lamoille River Bridge, the great double covered bridge, is gone.

The last "Good Day". September 9th, 2001. Autodrome Coaticook, Coaticook, Quebec, Canada. Anthony wins the final mini-sprint race of the year, and wraps up the mini-sprint track title. A lot of friends and family went up that day. A special day.
Two days later, all hell breaks loose.......
