DISAPPEARANCES
Very interesting movie. Kinda stays with you after you watch it. Good performances. I'm still trying to figure the whole
thing out.
I do recommend anyone and everyone see it.
The Middle East situation between Isreal and Hezbollah/Hamas/Lebanon is curious to watch, even though we the US are not
involved.....yet. Iran may have supplied missles to Hezbollah.
Syria may be involved.
These people have been at odds for centuries. Trouble is, over the years, the weaponry has become more advanced....and
more deadly.........and capable of spreading to a coflict outside the area.
I'm keeping my eyes on this.
Hopefully going to the races tonight.:)
Need to get smile thingys.

IT'S RAININ' AGAIN.......
For those of you that are out of town and haven't been back in Fairfax in a while.....
The new senior housing is being built behind the old Louise McArdle place. The road to it is between her old place and
where the Lavallees used to live next to the Baptist Church. The old Lavallee place burned two(?) years ago and was rebuilt.
In fact, if you haven't been back in Fairfax in a while, you wouldn't recognize Louise's old place. It has had a MAJOR overhaul.
Busy weekend coming up. Doing building coverage for the Fairfax Community Library's showing of Jay Craven's movie, "Disappearences"
starring Kris Kristofferson. That's Friday night at 7:30 in the old gym at the school. I will get full details for tomorrow.
Saturday, I'm hoping to head to Frogtown Speedway in Hogansburg, NY. ESS are running. The motor is not ready, but Carl's
going over to help out Lonnie Lacaillade. Sprint car pictures!!!
Ought to be interesting to see how much rain we've gotten. Hasn't rained hard, but it's been steady.

MUSTER SEASON!
Posted for Wednesday July 12th........
Muster season is here for the Fairfax Fire Department. There are two events the FXFD Muster Team will attend, The Vermont
State Firefighters Association Convention July 28-30 in St. Albans and the Franklin County Field Days in mid-August.
The Vermont Teddy Bear Company's Friend For Life Festval will not take place this year.
Tuesday night, the team got their feet wet trying the Bucket Brigade for the first time. Not a full team, but worked
on getting the rhythm down. Two runs, second was 10 seconds faster than the first.
Coming along nicely at school with summer cleaning. Elementary is mostly done. Working on middle school now.

I'M FAMOUS!!
Posted for Tuesday July 11th...........
We are a third of the way through July already. Is there a way we can have a one week time out, where we can stop the
earth from moving so we may enjoy the summer before it's over?
Today's photo is the one I sent to WCAX three weeks ago. I got an e-mail Monday afternoon stating they were going to
show it. WOO-HOO!!
I gotta get out and take some new pictures.

VERY TIRED
Posted for Monday July 10th.......
I got some sleep, but I'm going to bed early to try and catch up.
Had three people at the museum today.
Amanda Bryan pointed me in the direction of this funny video. I believe the guy is a motivational speaker for students
and he does this five minute thing on the History of Dance. More pop culture dancing than anything. He's good and it IS funny.

MONTY PYTHON MEETS DARTH VADER
But first......
An hour after the play ended, the set was all apart. Two hours after the play ended, I was setting the alarm and walking
out the door. They amaze me every time. It will take literally HOURS to put the set together for a play. Once the curtain
falls on the final performance, within two hours, everything is down, and the place looks like nothing ever happened.
If you have ever watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail or Star Wars, please click and watch this clip. Hilarious.
2AM and some remaining members of the cast are down back at a bonfire. usually with this bunch, there is a glow in the
sky in the east before the party breaks up. I remember one cast party we went to, Margie and I got home at 5am. Went to bed,
got up 2and1/2 hours later, I was up to watch an F1 race.
I need a vacation.
I will be at the museum Sunday from 2-4pm.
