FAIRFIELD -- Five different players scored goals as the Lawrence boys soccer team shut out Mt. Blue 5-0 in Kennebec
Valley Athletic Conference Class A play Tuesday. Matt Saunders had a goal
and an assist in the first half as Lawrence (6-7-1) led 2-0 at halftime. Tim Dudley, Drew Bois, Kyle Rabe and Ross Heinrich
scored the other goals, with Devin Forsman, Jake Ellis and Sterling Hartin notching assists. Dylan
Eustis finished with 10 saves for Mt. Blue (3-8-3).

FARMINGTON -- Wilson Guthro scored the game-winning goal on a direct kick with 9 minutes, 23 seconds left
in regulation to lift Waterville to a 2-1 win against Mt. Blue in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A boys soccer
game Wednesday. Alex Rowe also scored an unassisted goal with 7:39 left until the half
for the Purple Panthers (6-6-0). Blake Hart pulled the Cougars (2-6-3) even with 10:39
left in regulation. Alex Lee had the assist. Nick Lee had seven saves for Waterville while
Dylan Eustis had five.
