Mt. Blue for the second time in

2 weeks come from behind in

their last at bat to beat the Indians.

Chad Luker, Bradley Jackosn,

Cody Henry, & Joran Whitney

pitch for the Cougars in this game.

Mt. Blue again played small ball to tie

win the game in 7th, as after Nate Kendall

got on with a base on balls, Cody Henry then

bunted and the pitcher threwing in the dirt to

his first basemen, Charlie Martin tput a

perfect bunt single down to load the bases.

After a force at the plate Drew Fererri walked

to tie the game and Chad Luker then singled

to right field to win the game 8-7 to remain

unbeat in the Maine Central League.

Mt.Blue started the scoring in the 1st inning as Chad

Luker singled and then stole twice to end up on 3rd base

before being driven in by Jordan Whitney with a single

to left field. Lawrence then came back as the Cougar's pitching gave up 3 base-on-balls, hit a batter and threw a wild pitch as the Bulldogs scored twice in the second inning. The Cougar in 4th loaded the bases for Jamie Schanck

who singled in two runs for the win 4-2. Cody Henry was the winning pitcher and Zak Kendall got the save.

Drew Blanchett, Chad Luker, Jordan Whitney, Bradley Jackson & Zak Kendall provide the fire power in the second game of the twice bill at Lawrence. The Cougars had 12 runs on 8 hits. The pitching after a rough start settled down with Nate Kendall & Chad Luker shutting down the Bulldogs who got only 4 hits and 4 runs. The Cougars are now 6-0 with their next game against Messalonskee at home.
