The regular monthly meeting was called to order by President George Hanson at 6:35 p.m. Those also in attendance were: Joe Kennedy, Deb Holmes, Peter Clain, Mark Neslusan, and Lisa Whitney.

Bucksport Community Theatre: Deb once again offered to do the tickets and help with print materials for the upcoming productions. It was noted that the Bucksport Bay Festival is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of a captive audience. Regarding the summer production, Joe will contact Brian and Sandi Blanchette to set up a meeting and see if we can get things set for the upcoming year. It was thought that BACAS should have a meeting in early January as well as our regular January meeting in order to facilitate this goal. January 2nd was the day designated as the additional meeting date.

Old Business: The PO Box charge will need to be paid ASAP. Mark will take care of this. It was suggested that the “traveling cursor” on our website be discontinued. We will need to let Ken know about this.

New Business: It was noted that the focus of our meetings has been revolving around BCT of late, and that we need devote our time to other activities as well. Lisa mentioned that the Economic Development Committee had requested BACAS consider helping to establish a summer series of musical events based around performances in the gazebo, and timed with the arrival of the cruise ships. Mark indicated that he thought this was certainly do-able.

On motion by Joe, seconded by Peter, with all in favor, the meeting was adjourned at 7:35.
