Gene Meredith was a great friend who I met through Kurt. His parents were very nice and let us build a quarterpipe for the driveway. It was mobile and was put away so the driveway could be used. This quarterpipe was used to build the halfpipe which was built in the backyard. I learned to do frontside airs on this ramp. Many of the pictures show me on my Logan Earth Ski 10" wide deck with narrow Tracker "six-tracks" and Yo-Yo wheels. A strange set up but cash was tight and it worked for me.
