Emergency Operations Center  (NOT CURRENTLY OPERATING)
The Town of Cambridge has established an Emergency Operations Center in the New Cambridge Rescue Station. This facility would be utilized in the event of a disaster or large emergency in the community, to monitor and manage emergency operations and recovery efforts.
 
The facility is equipped with emergency power sources, multi-bank telephones, and meeting facilities for local, state and federal agencies.
 
Equipment in the facility includes a weather station that will display rain, wind, humidity and other information that would be used to assist responders in an emergency such as flooding or hazardours materials releases, multi-radios for communications with fire, police and ems.
 
THE TOWN EVACUATION CENTER (ELEMENTARY GYM) IN CURRENTLY NOT ACTIVE, IN THE EVENT OF AN EVACUATION, RESIDENTS WILL BE NOTIFIED THAT THE SHELTER IN ACTIVE, OR CHECK THIS WEBSITE.
