Next set of pictures: We went snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. I bought an underwater camera housing
to get pictures of the fish. The housing is called a
Dicapac, and it's essentially a ZipLoc
bag on steroids. Pictures: A: us, with the bay in
the background, B: the snorkeler, C,D: some of the residents of the bay, E: an interesting
chunk of coral, F: there were several chickens (roosters?) roaming the beach - this pair decided
to explore inside a beach blanket. Bet the owners were surprised when they got back.
Aloha from Honolulu. We got in about 7pm sunday (which is 3am east coast time). We were delayed
about an hour due to the rains in New Jersey. We're on the 8th floor of the Ala Moana hotel.
We can see a bit of ocean from the balcony of our hotel. Here are a few photos - more to come.
