This week I am looking for big fly action on the Kenney I have done well this week in the last two years. This is not
a typical year but I am still confident Hope to have some good stories next week.
Baker Lake was a wash out. We got rained on the whole weekend and if no fish wasn't bad enough I got home and a
good friend of my wife and I had passed away from a car accident. So I haven't been doing much fishing lately
due to that and the hose project but I made it out the last couple of days and caught some great fish. Touge brookies and
salmon all in the same place on my fly rod and it has been great all by my self without a sole around. So I will not reveal
location on these trips and will not be posting too many pics that might give location Sorry!!!:(
I took a trip to head of falls and the Alwives were thick but no stripers. No fish at shawmit but by the time I
made it there the sun was high and hot. I did stop in Skowhegan first thing in the morning and caught three browns all about
13 inches, near the big eddy. I thought with the three quick browns lets head to Waterville for some stripers. I should have
worked the Eddy longer I might have forund some bigger browns. Oh well it was a great day outside.
Shawn and I caught 26 fish in two hours on friday may 9 at the WO. I will be fishing in other places the rest of the
spring the waters are opening and fish are biting.
