1. Scoring shall take place after each 3 or 6 arrows per archer
2. Scorers shall enter the value of each arrow in descending order as called out by the archer to whom the arrows belong (i.e., highest to lowest), the other archers should check the value called
3. Neither the arrows nor the target face shall be touched until all arrows on that target butt have been recorded
4. If more than 3 or 6 arrows of an archer shall be found in the target, only the 3 or 6 lowest shall be scored - repeats may disqualify the archer from shooting
5. An arrow shall be scored according to the position of the shaft in the face - touching lines or two colors score higher score - see example under pictures
6. All competitors have the right to request a Judge’s call of an arrow’s value
7. Arrows not showing in the face (embedded in the butt or bounced out) must be
scored by a Judge
8. Arrows hitting the wrong target face shall not score
9. Archers shooting at a given target will remain at their target until all arrows are accounted for - archers will return from each target to the waiting line together
10. A mistake on a scoresheet, discovered before the arrows are drawn, may be corrected; otherwise, the lower score will become official. Errors in math will always result in the lower score becoming the official score.
11. For qualifying rounds
a. Double scoring using 2 scoresheets and 2 independent scorers per target
b. All arrow holes in the face must be marked after pulling
c. When signing Scoresheets, they MUST be signed by the scorer and the competitor, denoting agreement with arrow values. Scorer’s sheet must also be signed by another competitor
