The Washburn Pentecostal Church was founded in 1916 by Rev. and Mrs. Nelson Magoon. The original building was built and dedicated to the Lord on Easter Sunday 1917. Since that time many renovations and enlargements have taken place so that today we have a beautiful sanctuary
in which to worship, a gymnasium/fellowship hall along with many classrooms for Sunday School and other activities.
Although we rejoice in what the Lord has given us, we realize that the work of the Lord is not in buildings, but in
the hearts and lives of men, women, boys and girls. Our desire is to reach out
effectively to the needs of the people in our community and to the world..
