Date Rated: January 2007 Ingredients: A blend of organic Indian black tea from Nilgiri infused with natural bergamot essence and organic smoked tea from Fujian Province in China. The smoked tea is better known as Lapsang Souchong in China. Tea format: Loose tea in a reusable canister, or loose tea in a paper bag. Where to get it: You can order some on their web site. Recommended Preparation: Steep 2 (not rounded) teaspoons of loose tea for 5 minutes. (10 oz. cup) Comments: Automatic kudos for being organic. This is a light-bodied Earl Grey with slight astringency. Usually smoked Earl Greys are very strong teas, so I found it unusual that this is so light. The smokiness is pronounced, but not overwhelming. The Tao of Tea was prompt in shipping me my order. Other Great Teas from this Company: Blue Flower Earl Grey, Earl Grey, Green Earl Grey |
