Earthenware shaped and colored by hand on a Vermont hillside....
Making pots has been a part of my life for over thirty-five years. I am currently an active member of The Vermont Crafts Council and Vermont Hand Crafters. The vibrancy, clarity and spectrum of colors available for earthenware make it the ideal medium for me. I make a variety of functional pieces including bowls, mugs, serving dishes, bath sets, butter keepers, and most popularly, berry bowls. All of these handmade pieces are either wheel thrown or made from slabs of clay and are lead free, microwave and dishwasher safe. My studio in Duxbury, Vermont was built by my husband Ken in our 140 year old barn and overlooks the mountains, trees and flowers that are part of and surround our 30 acre property. Four Seasons Pottery is a reflection of this diverse natural world. I hope that you enjoy exploring it.
