The Rust Pond Association, founded in 1950 to purchase, repair and maintain the dam and to oversee the level and purity of the Pond's water, is a voluntary membership organization with non-profit 501C3 status.

We recently were informed that the 2008 VLAP Reports are now up available at http://des.nh.gov/organization/divisions/water/wmb/vlap/annual_reports/2008/index.htm. I am sure you are interested in the results from all the time our volunteers (Ed Webb, Christie Parker, and Keith Simpson) took to take water tests last year.

2008 Annual Meeting Minutes

The association would like members to email the Webmaster so that emails can be collected. Please indicate if you are interested in receiving notices and Association news via email. This will not be in lieu of necessary written notices at this time, just in addition.
Please note the Final Report Executive Summary on the Association Documents page. That is a section that did not exist in the preliminary Watershed Study released in 2006. The final version also contains some other changes from the preliminary release. There are some hard copies available, contact the secretary if you would like to borrow one. Otherwise the final report will be made available on this website as soon as possible.
Also, here you can read a summary of the Watershed Study report written by Clay Clatur, long time member and one most affected by the North Inlet situation.
Poetry written and read by Bob Demaree at that Annual Meeting was very warmly received by the attending membership. If you would like to read that poetry, our poetry section now contains the poems read by Bob that evening.
Some flood pics taken by Bob Mathes at the dam:
