BASIC FOR GREAT WAR MEMBERS

LISTED BELOW IS THE BASIC UNIFORM THAT WE REQUIRE FOR ALL MEMBERS.  AFTER JOINING, WE WILL HELP THE RECRUIT TO PURCHASE THE CORRECT ITEMS FROM A LIST OF PREFERED VENDORS.

Uniform.

 

Shrapnel Helmet Mk. I and Variations, Painted

Tam’O Shanter w/ Red Hackle

Jacket - Service Dress Pattern, Highland Cut

Kilt – Black Watch Tartan

Kilt Cover – Khaki Cotton/Linen – Full Wrap

Shirt – British Issue 3 Button Greyback or Canadian Issue 4 Button Drab Flannel Shirt

Hose Tops - Khaki

Puttees – Full Length

Socks – Grey Army Issue

Boots – Brown Rough or Smooth Out or Black Pebbled Grain GS Boots. No Toecaps. Hobnailed and with Heal Irons.

General Service Waterbottle Carrier (Pattern 1903 Variant.)

Canteen – Blue Enameled with woolen cover. X2

Mess Tin – British Pattern 1908 – with eating utensils

Small Box Respirator

Steel Issue Drinking Mug or White Enameled Drinking Mug.
