The Officers, Directors, and Members of the Essex Junction Lions Club, District 45, State of Vermont, proudly announce and wholeheartedly endorse the candidacy of IPP Lion Betsy MaGee for the office of Vice District Governor of District 45, State of Vermont, for the year 2006-2007, and for the office of District Governor, of this District for the year 2007-2008. Lion Betsy has proven by her past service to be a woman of integrity, who is dedicated to Lionism. She has been an active member of the Essex Junction Lions Club since October 1999. Lion Betsy has held many offices, including Director, Vice-President, and President. She has served the District with her leadership and participation. She was named District Lion of the Year for 2004-2005, and received her Melvin Jones Fellowship the same year. She is currently serving as Zone 1B chair, District Fund Raising chair, and Membership chair. We unanimously agree that Lion Betsy' enthusiasm and dedication qualify her as an outstanding candidate for the leader of the Vermont Lions.
