Below is an attempt to answer some parent questions prior to the games.  If you have additional questions e-mail me directly or ask your team manager to contact me and I’ll give you the answer. I can be reached at digger.splice@myfairpoint.net

Q:  Are there rules about bringing dogs or smoking in the parks?

A:  No smoking, and No Dogs allowed in either park.

Q: I have never been to this field before do you have directions?

A: The 10yr old tournament is at the corner of Trotting Track Rd & Center Street (state highway 28)In Wolfeboro N.H. The 12yr old tournament is on Summer St in Farmington N.H. Click on the link to Yahoo Maps. http://maps.yahoo.com/;_ylc=X3oDMTExNmIycG51BF9TAzI3MTYxNDkEc2VjA2ZwLWJ1dHRvbgRzbGsDbGluaw--#mvt=m&lat=43.387499&lon=-71.065405&zoom=17&q1=Summer%2520St%252C%2520Farmington%252C%2520NH

Q: Will there be a professional photographer at the games?

A: Yes, there will be a booth set up at both the Wolfeboro and Farmington locations where a professional photographer will take photos during each game. Parents have the option of hiring the photographer for them during the game or parents can pool their resources and have copies of the entire game put on a disk. For specific information on pricing, or to go directly to the photographer  web site click on any of the sports photos within this site.

Q: Is there a concession stand at the ballparks?

A: Yes, there is a concession stand at both locations. Like many youth league programs Kingswood Cal Ripken and Farmington use their concession stand to help raise money. We encourage you to buy food from the concession stand instead of bringing coolers.

Q: What time do I need to have my son or daughter at the games?

A: The exact time you should show up for the games is up to your team manager. The team manager is required to turn his roster into the scorekeepers one hour before each game. I am sure; each manager would feel more comfortable when they turn in their roster if they see the player already on the property. A good rule of thumb is for the player to be there one hour prior to the game, check with your manager to make sure.

Q: Does my son or daughter have to be in full uniform?

A: Yes, each player must be in full matching team uniform or they cannot play. They cannot share a jersey with a number on it or even a hat with a number on it.

Q: What if it rains?

A: We will make every attempt to get the games in as scheduled. I understand that people will be driving from long distances. I will make every attempt to notify the manager in time. I would suggest each team have a calling list in an effort to help the manager contact everyone as quickly as possible if the game is canceled. As long as the fields are draining and there is no thunder or lightning in the area the games will go on.
