March 17, 2000 -- Day 8
Dave is feeling a lot better today. He didn't have TPN (IV nutrition) last night, and no rigors. He's been awake all day -- we went for a walk around the unit, and he's been working on a puzzle book. I went to the grocery store with Lois and got Dave a couple of frozen dinners. Somehow, the hospital food just wasn't appealing to him! I can't understand it!
The doctors still don't know what was causing the rigors, but they're giving him antibiotics anyway. Better to be safe than sorry.
It's a lovely snowy day in Boston. Yesterday was 70, today 30s with snow and wind. Great day for a walking tour!
