March 20, 2000 -- Day 11
Not much new and exciting to report.
Dave's counts are going up, his hair is falling out out, and he's bored as can be! Everyone keeps telling us how good he looks. His color is good, and he's up and around. Knock on wood, I think we're in the home stretch!
He's started wearing the hats I made him before we came down. For those of you who don't know what the heck I'm talking about, I had made Dave a bunch of goofy hats (at his request) to wear when his hair fell out. He has 3 that are pointed and look like wizard's hats, and he's got a bunch of other ones made out of red, yellow and blue polarfleece. They're pretty fun. If nothing else, we'll amuse the nurses!

p.s. The doctor just stuck his head in the door and said that they (all the doctors) are "thrilled" with how well Dave is doing! Always good to hear from a doctor!
