March 14, 2000 -- Day 5
Dave's having another pretty good day. He's bored -- but bored is better than sick!
My father and sister Luanne came to visit today. Besides Lois, they're the first visitors. We sat and talked to Dave for 15 or 20 minutes, then he started to look drowsy, so we left in search of lunch. My father wanted to go to Quincy Market, so we hopped the T and took a ride into Boston. We did indeed find lunch, and did a little shopping before heading back so Luanne and my father could get back home before too late.
Lois is winning everybody's hearts by baking cookies. Our housemates Al and George made a roasted chicken dinner with potatoes and beans the other night. They and Lois and I all pigged out. The next night I made 4 cheese lasagna, and we pigged out again.
