FIFTY IN FIFTY
Fran’s “TEAM GOP” goals for the first 50 days of recapturing
the majority:
1. a
minimum of $50,000 cash donations or in-kind contributions in the first 50 days.
2.
50 town chairs in place every 50 days. (this puts us with all town chair
slots filled with active and trained town chairs by August of 07—a full year before the Sept 08 primary)
3.
50 town lists updated every 50 days. (this puts us with all checklists updated and analyzed for strategy by August
07, a full year before the 08 primary)
Also by the 50 day benchmark (March 19th) we will accomplish the following:
A. a fully functioning and aggressive finance committee
B.
a communications director put in place responsible for press releases, maintaining the website, creating the electronic
newsletter, and over-seeing the voter data base effort
C. all office hardware and software updated to current standards (at least 4 units properly
networked)
D.
a well established electronic newsletter sent to Republicans at least twice a month
E. a new, fresher website
F. lists compiled of all the Republican
voters in each town who are frequent primary voters--- this will be used in recruiting new blood for the town committees as
well as fund raising requests
G. establishment of a working group of
high school seniors, young republicans, and college republicans to craft a strategy of outreach to attract young voters to
our party
H. development
of a questionnaire and estimates of cost to do in-depth polling of undeclared voters and strategy of raising the money for
this effort (funds from the RNC and presidential candidates?)
I. planning of Weekend activist retreat focusing on brainstorming and grassroots training and securing
a funding source for the cost. (similar to the one held a dozen years ago in Freedom)
J. plans completed for a late Spring Gala
Fundraising Reception with a national figure as speaker
K. Chairman to have visited each county
and city committee
L. By Laws committee organized and public
hearings scheduled
