DUDLEY DILLINGHAM

Dudley came to live with me when he was about 2. He was my cousin's cat. She had to move & couldn't take him. Her Dad tried...however it upset his elderly resident cat, so I agreed to adopt him. Dudley is a bit of a "fuddy-duddy"! He's a mama's boy, & gets his nose out of joint if he feels he's not gettting his share (read: "all") of the attention. He's a fairly big guy...about 10 1/2 lbs. He's told often how handsome he is, & how much I admire his ruffly white "jabot" & white mustachioes!

Duddy likes to ride around across my shoulders while I putter around the house. He has a interesting "meow"...it often sounds as if he's calling for  "moo COW!" :) He has also been doing really well with saying "maw-maw", a trick he learned from Miles, and for which he gets special praise for the clearest attempts, heehee! He often sleeps partly on my head, "singing" me to sleep.

Favorite treats: Catnip, and nutritional yeast!!! He loves the nut. yeast so much, that I had to cut down on the amount I give him... it got to the point where he would only eat his food if I stood there and kept sprinkling it every few seconds. They are SO good at wrapping us around their paws!

Above, Dudley looks out the window towards the bird feeders, one of his favorite pastimes. Another favorite pastime is laying around, looking rather full of himself! :)

Dudley, basking in a sun beam streaming in from the sliding glass doors. Oh, and...looking handsome, of course!

Dudley spends lots of time (as do the others) watching squirrels & chipmunks through the sliding glass doors. Sometimes the little critters play with them by running back & forth, then coming up to the glass to peer in at the cats!

The handsome man, Duds. Now 14, he's been with me about 12 years.
