April Fools!!!!
Sorry, I just couldn't resist that one! I told Dave this morning we should put a sign on the front of our house that says IT'S A BOY for all those people who don't know why we were gone. Let them think we had a boy. Well, we kind of did. Dave is a boy, and he had a birthday on March 9th.
Anyway, we're not so tired today. It felt good to sleep in our own bed. I think we both slept much better last night than we have in ages. We're still getting unpacked and settled in again. I had to go grocery shopping again to get all the things I didn't get yesterday (yesterday I went to the local market, which is pretty expensive. Today I went to the affordable market!). Got the car washed and gassed up. What an exciting day, huh?
In my effort to ply Dave with nutritious foods, I'm cooking vegetables to make broth for cooking rice in. I figure if he doesn't like cooked vegetables, I can at least try to get some of the nutrients out of them.
That's all for now. Still doing well. We'll go to the doctor here this coming week for blood tests to see how his counts are doing. We'll keep you posted.
