April 3, 2000 -- Day 25 -- Still doing well
Hi everyone!
Just wanted to let you know things are still going well and Dave is still feeling good. We had a visiting nurse come to the house today -- I wasn't sure why we needed one, but she drew blood and dropped it off at the lab, saving us a trip to the hospital. That's a pretty handy service!
We're both still pretty pooped. Dave usually feels most energetic in the mornings, but that dwindles by lunchtime. He's glad to be back home, tho, so that's keeping his spirits up. We joke about not hearing anything outside (we never didn't hear something outside while we were in Boston). We like the sounds of the birds, and when a car goes down the street, we both look to see who it is!
Not much else new. Our iMac died, so I had to bring it to the shop today. Fortunately, it's still under warranty. Hopefully we'll get it back Wednesday. I sure do miss it!
So that's the latest. We're not expecting any excitement for a while. The nurse will come back on Thursday to see how we're doing, and we'll go to Boston on Sunday for a Monday appointment, but that's all we've got scheduled. Between now and then, maybe we'll sleep!
Hope spring is nicer wherever you are than it is here -- it's been raining all day, and more predicted through tomorrow night. : ( If it makes my flowers grow, then I guess it's okay!
